Child Care Center in Villa La Florida

We built a multipurpose hall with sanitary facilities at Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza center in Villa La Florida, Quilmes, Buenos Aires. Due to the high groundwater tables, this center was constantly flooding. The expansion provides a safe space for all types of activities. Additionally, it expanded the cultural and educational offerings for more than 80 children and adolescents.

  • Civil society organizations: Una Mano que Ayuda, Banco Provincia Foundation and HEIP Humanitarian Engineering International Placements (Australia).
  • Public sector: National Secretariat for Children, Adolescents, and Families and Municipality of Quilmes.
  • Universities: Architecture students and faculty from FADU (UBA)
  • Companies: Penta-Ka, Marsh, Philips, Bosch Argentina and Cementos Avellaneda.
  • EWB-Ar Volunteers.
